Ella says, “This was painted at home after my wonderful 2024 trip to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary in the Flinders Rangers, South Australia. The Ochre Walls was a beautiful location I visited twice, returning to paint after a brief visit on a previous day. Three of us returned with paints in tow and spent a beautiful morning on the dry river bed, sitting beneath gum trees to paint the magnificent Ochre Walls. Seams of coloured ochre lie in horizontal layers beside the creek bed - yellow, orange, red and purple. The contrast with the silver, blue and khaki of the vegetation was very eye-catching. First Nations Artists have valued this site for thousands of years for its beauty and as a source of ochre for use in artwork and ceremonies. This artwork brings back wonderful memories of my time at Arkaroola.”
Packaging
This artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. It is carefully packaged in a plastic sleeve inside a sturdy cardboard wrap.

Artworks are delivered using Australia Post’s Express Post service, which allows you to receive tracking information and updates. Please allow 10 - 14 days for delivery within Australia. International postage may take slightly longer. Please check the Australia Post website for delivery estimates for your country. If you are in Sydney, pick-up of artwork can be arranged.
Free postage is offered for delivery within Australia. For the rest of the world, a flat rate of A$50 is charged.
