Beginning…

I used to write a blog. It was under a pen name and led some shape to my weeks, discipline to my creativity and order to my thoughts.  It brought me connections to both people I knew in real-life and only online. It often led to conversations we did not otherwise have. Like a lot of things, it faded away over time.

Now I seem to feel the pull to start a blog again.

In the intervening years I have changed my focus from writing to visual arts, but still feel the tug from both of these creative endeavours. 

Last year, when I made a website as a portfolio and shop for my artwork, I noticed I could also add a blog. It must have planted a seed.

So here it is! My first post. I hope to use this space to explore and articulate ideas, to offer a window into my art and some insights into where my focus is right now.
